On Wednesday, October 26th at 5:30 p.m., SDCBA’s Dialogue on Diversity Series is hosting a program called “Intersecting the Color Line: The Urgent Matter of Colorism.” In this one-hour panel discussion moderated by Hon. Marcella McLaughlin, Dr. Sarah L. Webb (Founder & CEO of Colorism Healing) and Professor Theresa Ford (San Diego State University) will explore the topic of colorism and the impact that this implicit bias has on employment opportunities, job performance reviews, police encounters, schooling/ education, healthcare, and more. SABA San Diego is a community partner for this program. The event costs $15 and will be held live at the SDCBA Conference Center – 401 West A Street, Suite 120 (Ground Floor).
