The California Department of Justice, Office of the Attorney General runs a year-round internship program in its Business Litigation Section, which is tasked with representing tax and business regulatory agencies in all phases of civil litigation and administrative mandamus proceedings in state and federal courts and in bankruptcy matters. Each semester (spring/summer/fall), the Los Angeles and San Diego offices accept 2 to 3 law student interns to work 20-40 hours per week alongside Deputy AGs in the Business Litigation Section.
